Scattered Daisy Wedding Veil with Hand Embroidered Daisies by Natasha Nicole Studio

history.

After studying Fine Art at university, I found a love for the quiet and methodical art of hand embroidery. With a love of all things beautiful, magical and floral, bridalwear was a natural progression for me. Obsessed with little intricate and delicate details, creating wedding veils became something that filled me with so much love and joy!

I approach my wedding veils the same way I would a canvas or sketchbook so that each piece is a work of art. I also have a history of working in luxury fashion so not only can I help find what will suit you perfectly, but I will also discuss and view fabrics and designs with you like a friend. Everything I make is personal and I genuinely get excited about making each new veil.

I’ve worked with brides both in the UK and Internationally to create completely bespoke designs that sing to their background and relationship, so have a wealth of ideas for you to choose from and love discussing completely new designs!

veils.

I hand make every single, tiny little detail in every wedding veil I design. From initial sketches and ideas I create these veils as works of art in themselves. I stitch every dainty flower or star by hand and can turn anything you’re dreaming of into meaningful embroidery. Hand embroidery in particular has many roots in bridalwear and its authentic and romantic nature makes it perfect for an heirloom piece.

If you prefer machine embroidery or appliques, I can hand sketch and design my embroideries to be machine stitched, and each bead, flower or applique is hand made and sewn on by hand. I do not use any pre embroidered fabric and embroider each veil to order with details that are specific to each bride.

This way of working is so different from factory made wedding veils that are made from pre-embroidered and embellished fabrics. You can trust that I will be adding every detail by hand using traditional and historic techniques and that your veil will not be duplicated, making your piece one-of-a-kind.

As they are completely handmade, my veils can come in any custom length, with or without a blusher and in any shape or style that’s perfect for you.

MADE TO TREASURE.

As a testament to the brides I work with, my designs are never duplicated exactly. I specialise in making unique pieces that are entirely personal to you and make you feel wonderful on your wedding day.

If going entirely bespoke is not preferable for you, I do have made-to-order designs, that can be personalised to you and are a great starting point for some lovely ideas! Each made-to-order veil will have a different set of flowers in different placements. This natural way of working ensures each piece is kept individual and special. I also add one-of-a-kind wedding veils to my shop if you do not have the time for bespoke but would like a unique wedding veil.

process.

Each veil journey with me includes email consultations, sketches and samples. I can send you a little guide to the bespoke process to see if this journey is right for you and talk through your ideas to see what is achievable and most complimentary to your dress or bridal outfit. You will receive a sketch or design to choose from, text mock ups, colour thread samples and any tulle samples you require.

This process is tailored to each bride and takes a varying amount of time, depending on the amount and complexity of design and embroidery. Minimal wedding veils may be quicker to design, where as full length Cathedral veils with lots of flowers and foliage can take longer. So much love and attention goes into every wedding veil I create, and I hope you’d like to take the journey of creating something special too!
